- I am a painter living in Hailey, Idaho. I am interested in the Arts as a great form of communication - especially painting & acting. My art is my most direct & clear form of expression with the world. I was born & raised in the Chicago suburbs. At 18, I moved to downtown Chicago, at 20 I moved to New York City where I lived for the next 15 years. While in the city, I pursued both of my artistic interests. I studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in midtown Manhattan & started to experiment with painting in my Brooklyn apartment. I am a self-taught painter. My painting is inspired by both urban & rural life. My works are often of futuristic landscapes or scenes in which the nature and technology are evolved & imagined to be different than we know it now. I currently reside in Hailey, Idaho where I am able to explore both painting & acting. I am one of the founders of ARTHOUSE which is hosted at my home every summer. I am an actor with Company of Fools Theater Company and my artwork is available at Gilman Contemporary gallery in Ketchum, Idaho.
